An amber heat-health alert has been updated for the West Midlands via the UK Health Security Agency. 

The amber alert (hot weather enhanced response) is in place from 19 June 2025 to 23 June 2025.

This stage requires specific actions from health and social services to reduce harm from hot weather.

Guidance to assist professionals in protecting vulnerable people from the health impacts of severe heat are set out in the Adverse Weather and Health Plan for England.
