All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (eg average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.

The average pay for GPs working in St Mary's Surgery in the last financial year was £56,165 before tax and National Insurance.  This is for 1 full time GP and 1 part time GP   and 1 part time locum who worked in the practice for more than six months.'

If patients do not have internet access and ask to see this information, it is to be provided either in paper copy, on a poster or by showing the patient the information posted on the practice website.
